THE ELITE (People to Hate)

This one is short and to the point. Never put people below you. Just because you're in a sport that's tougher than another does not give you the right to put yourself above another person. If you're in a sport you love, than don't just do it for fun and not even make varsity, because really that's just a waste of time and money on yourself and your parents. Don't do a sport just because your friends are doing it. To truly be good at a sport, you must practice religiously, have love, passion, dedication, and heart. Make varsity. Everyone needs to stop talking crap to me just because I'm in bowling and not in wrestling. You know why I don't do wrestling, is because I don't need to do it to gain the respect of others, or just because my friends are in it. WHO CARES? If you aren't working your butt off to be the best beyond fatigue, then you'll never be the best, and you'll never amount to anything in life, and just suck at everything, and will never have a future.

I don't mean to offend anyone in this note

Love, Peace, and much respect always

Mental Toughness

You're running a 10k marathon, and you feel like quitting. On the last couple of miles you stop and just start walking. That doesn't mean you're weak physically, but you are weak mentally. When someone tells me that I can't do something, I'll keep going at it until I succeed. What is mental toughness? Mental toughness is the desire to go longer than your opponent, wanting to win, and never saying never. I never say die, I never say try, and I never say never. If you want to be the best keep thinking "this doesn't hurt. I have to keep going. I'll never lose. If I quit now than everything is lost." The people who are the toughest mentally are the ones that usually prevail. If you can think it, it can become reality. It comes down to the mind. Never second guess yourself. Tell yourself that you are the best, because you are. By staying positive, you're one step ahead of your opponent if they are thinking negative.

Love and Respect much

Winning Record

WHOO HOOO! We're still at a winning record as we showed our dominance over Whitnall and Eisenhower when we won the matches 5-2 and 5-3. We are now at a 6-4 winning record and I'm glad that Thursday is a bye week but we have Whitnall and Eisenhower next Saturday at AMF Waukesha at 11:00 a.m. Come out and support the Pewaukee Pirates Varsity boys as we are going to keep our winning record and be 8-4 because we are the best, and we can only keep winning.

Ike and Whitnall

What's up everyone? Well the high school bowling team varsity boys has another double header tomorrow as we face Ike and Whitnall. There is no hoping that we're going to win. We're simply going to win. That was our problem. We need to be confident, fired up and just be ready to accept the challenges that come our way. If we don't stay focused, make the spares, and stay confident, we will surely lose. Together we stand, divided we fall. I got a doubles tournament at hartbrook lanes tomorrow, and I'm hoping to do really well in that! It's gonna be fun, a whole day of bowling, but hopefully I don't go crazy. I can only keep getting better, and keep winning, because the sky is the limit and I'll break beyond that limit, and have an amazing 2009. 2009 is my year and it will be more than fine, it'll be divine.

My First Big Tournament! (WOW!)

Hammer Youth Challenge Skins Tourney!

I recently bowled in the hammer youth challenge skins tournament. In this tournament, everyone needed to shoot at least 620-630 and above to have a chance to even make the semis. I bowled 553 which wasn't going to make the cut. My mental game got away as well as my physical game. However I'll go back to practicing to get better, and keep practicing with the high school team so we can get better and win more matches. Go Pirates!

Bowling

After today, the Pewaukee High School boys bowling varsity are now 4-4. I was focused the whole time and surprised that we didn't win. However it was all mental for the whole team. We needed to stop thinking "we gotta beat these guys," and thought "throw a good shot and make the adjustments when needed." However we did pretty decent and I increased my fill percentage by a lot today. I'm happy and I'm going to be competing in a singles tournament on the 28th of February. That's a long way away so I'll have time to practice, get better and do good. I have a doubles tournament with my friend Tony Hassmer on the tenth and he's been bowling really good lately. He just shot a 703 and holds the high game record at Hartbrook lanes. I hope that I can do really good and have a good 2009.

Peace and Love,
